Liana Liberato is one of the stars of Peacock’s new dark comedy series ‘Based on a True Story’, which follows a realtor, a former tennis star, and a plumber who capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime. The show will premiere on June 8, 2023, and Liberato attended the red carpet event in Los Angeles with her co-stars Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman, and Priscilla Quintana.

However, their scheme soon spirals out of control as they get involved in more than they bargained for.
Based on a True Story is created by Craig Rosenberg and executive produced by Cuoco, Messina, Rosenberg, Steve Yockey, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Suzanne McCormack. The show is described as a “quirky comedy” that satirizes the true crime genre and its cultural impact.
